Scope of Application:
The Battery Safety Enclosure is a specialized protective device designed for battery safety testing. Its primary purpose is to effectively isolate and control potential hazards such as combustion and explosion during battery tests, including overcharge, over-discharge, forced discharge, and other safety performance assessments. This ensures the safety of operators, instrumentation, and the surrounding environment. It incorporates multiple safety features such as a robust steel structure, explosion-proof chain, explosion-resistant observation window, pressure release device, exhaust system, and intelligent monitoring to minimize risks under extreme test conditions .
Structural Features:
Outer Casing: The casing is constructed from selected thickened cold-rolled steel plate, treated with electrostatic baking paint, forming a dense protective layer that is hard, robust, and offers excellent rust resistance. Standard equipment includes 2 cable access ports (50mm each) on the left side.
Protective Door: The door is reinforced with heavy-duty hinges and is equipped with an explosion-proof chain.
Pressure Relief Device: A dedicated pressure relief vent is located on the top of the cabinet.
Working Chamber: The inner chamber is made of SUS304 stainless steel with a mirror polish finish.
Shelf: Features insulated spacer plates designed specifically for clamping batteries, manufactured using special processes for ease of use.
Explosion-Resistant Observation: A double-layer insulated tempered glass observation window, reinforced with a wire mesh grid to protect against impact from explosions.
Control Panel: Utilizes a microcomputer-controlled intelligent LCD temperature controller, offering high precision, no overshoot, and multi-data display on a single screen. It includes temperature calibration and timer functions.
Temperature Control: Features automatic cooling and heating control, equipped with highly sensitive sensors to ensure stability during continuous operation.
Air Duct: A dual-channel forced convection ventilation structure improves temperature response speed and enhances temperature uniformity.
Alarm System: If smoke or fire is detected inside the chamber during testing, the system triggers an audible and visual alarm and automatically cuts off power.
Safety System: Includes leakage protection, auxiliary temperature control, and an RS485 communication interface.
